Mr. Tim Perkins, Greensburg, KY (1959-2012)

He was a member of a highly regarded Green County, KY family, the son of Carl and Ruth Perkins and the husband of Pam Davis Perkins, who survive. He leaves two direct living descendants. He made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. He had worked for Sumitomo Corporation for 24 years.

Mr. Tim Perkins, age 53, of Greensburg, KY, passed away on Friday, October 05, 2012, at his home in Greensburg, KY.

The funeral services for Mr. Tim Perkins will be conducted at 11amCT, Monday, October 8, 2012, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial in the Neagle Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-9pmCT, Sunday, October 7, 2012 and after 7amCT, Monday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.

He was born Thursday, July 2, 1959. He died Friday, October 5, 2012, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 53 years, 3 months, and 3 days.

He made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. He had worked for Sumitomo Corporation for 24 years. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Pam Davis Perkins of Greensburg, KY, having united in marriage on April 19, 1985. and the following:
  • Two daughters and a son in law: Amanda and Kevin Curry of Green County, KY; and Ashley Perkins of Greensburg, KY

  • His Parents: Carl and Ruth Clark Perkins of Greensburg, KY

  • Three sisters: Betty Church and her husband, Don Church, Patty Gail Mills, and Judy Froggett and her husband, Louie, all of Green County, KY

  • His mother in law and father iin law: David and Brenda Judd of Green County, KY
  • Two sisters in law: Lisa Atkins and her husband, Ronnie of Edmonton, KY, and Tammy Sloan and her husband, Mike of Horse Cave, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
  • Donations are requested to the Neagle Cemetery Fund, American Cancer Society, or Hosparus of Central Kentucky, these can be made at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.
