Dallas Phillips, La Grange, KY (d. Oct. 5, 2012)

He had retired from the LaGrange Reformatory where he was a teacher touching and changing many lives. He was the patriarch of a large, highly regarded family which includes many Adair County, KY kin. He leaves 21 direct living descendants

Dallas Phillips, 80 of La Grange, Kentucky passed away peacefully with his family and friends by his side Friday October 5, 2012.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held October 8, 2012 at 2pmET/1pmCT, Calvary Baptist Church 1659 Mt. Olivet Road, La Grange, KY.


He leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years, Annetta and the following:
  • Three daughters: Sandra Sharp of New Castle, KY, Mona Burton and husband David of Columbia, KY; Karen Button and husband Tom of Pt St Lucie, FL

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Eight great grandchilden

  • And many loving friends
He was preceded in death by a son, Roger.

Dallas retired from the LaGrange Reformatory where he was a teacher touching and changing many lives.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville in his honor.
