Marcella Vibbert Dodson, Summer Shade, KY, (d. Oct. 3, 2012) She was the matriarch of a respected Metcalfe County, KY, family, the wife of Morris Dodson, who survives. She leaves seven direct living descendants. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Era Elmore Vibbert and a member of the Cedar Flat Cumberland Presbyterian Church Marcella Vibbert Dodson, age 61 of Summer Shade, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at the Monroe Co. Medical Center, in Tompkinsville, KY. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 7, 2012, at 2pmCT at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, with Bro. Roger Poynter and Bro Nathan Sowers officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Friday, October 5 and will continue through Saturday, October 6, 2012, at the funeral home. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Era Elmore Vibbert and a member of the Cedar Flat Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Morris Dodson and the following;
