Daphon Lena Tucker, Russell Springs, KY (1924-2012) She was the matriarch of a highly regarded Russell County, KY family. She leaves seven direct living descendants, including granddaughter Tricia Cole and great grandchildren Jace and Taylor Cole of Columbia, KY. She was the widow of the late Orvis Aaron Tucker. Daphon Tucker, 88, a resident of Fair Oaks Nursing, died Tuesday at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY. Funeral service 10amCT, Friday, October 5, 2012, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with burial in the Parks Ridge Cemetery. Bro. Billy Dunbar will be the officiating clergy. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Thursday, October 4, 2012, at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Shayne Coe, Jerry Popplewell, Jesse Tucker, Morris Bolin, Jamie Cole and Terry Burton Daphon Lena Tucker, Russell Springs, KY (1924-2012) She was born Saturday, March 29, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Loren O. Bolin and the late Mary Eva Popplewell Bolin. She died Friday, October 5, 2012, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 88 years, six months, and 7 days. She was was preceded in death by her husband, Orvis Aaron Tucker, to whom she was wed on June 6, 1949. Survivors include:
