Lindsey Wilson College set to host 26th Annual Athletic Auction Link to auction catalog: PDF By Dan White News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - It's that time again for the Lindsey Wilson College Athletic Department to host one of its most anticipated events of the year in the 26th Annual Athletic Auction at 6pmCT on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at the Roberta D. Cranmer Dining Center, 430 Helen Flatt Drive, Columbia, KY, on the LWC campus. There's still time to be a part of the bidding. Tickets for the dinner, silent and live auctions are still available by calling Beth Boisvert at 270-384-8070. Tickets can be purchased as a couple for $25 or a single ticket is available for $15. The night's schedule includes doors opening at 6pmCT, with appetizers served in conjunction with the silent auction. At 7:15pmCT, the silent auction comes to a close and dinner will be served. Following dinner at 8pmCT, the excitement of the live auction will begin. Items available for bidding include numerous University of Kentucky and University of Louisville basketball tickets, golf and houseboat vacations, membership at the Holloway Health and Wellness Center and a week stay at an international time share, among others. Once again, local community members Richard Lee Walker, Darrell Overstreet, Chris Wilson and their staffs are helping with the auction and offering their consultation for the planning of the event. The athletic department hopes to see everyone at Cranmer on Saturday night. The excitement of purchasing items helps support the young men and women involved in Blue Raider Athletics. - Dan White This story was posted on 2012-10-03 12:53:19
