Kentucky State Police Commissioner Rodney Brewer presented Latisa Roark with the keys to a 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T at KSP headquarters in Frankfort on Thursday, September 27, 2012. Roark won the vehicle in a raffle held by KSP on August 26 at the Kentucky State Fair.

Each year KSP sells raffle tickets to raise funds to support Trooper Island, a free summer camp for underprivileged boys and girls aged 10-12 operated by KSP on Dale Hollow Lake in Clinton County. It is financed entirely by donations, no public funds are used. The camp hosts approximately 700 children each summer, providing good food, fresh air, recreation, guidance and structured, esteem-building activities designed to build good citizenship and positive relationships with law enforcement officers. This year the raffle raised $127,978.40 for Trooper Island - Les Williams, Public Information Officer III, Kentucky State Police, 919 Versailles Road, Frankfort, KY
