Adair Alumnus brings home the Grand Champion trophy

Jaime Smith wins at the Taylor County Marching Invitational

The Larue County High School Marching Band, under the direction of Adair Alumnus, Jaime Smith, brought home the coveted Grand Champion trophy after receiving the highest overall score of any band in the competition. They also received the award for Best Colorguard and almost captured the award for Best Percussion, losing to Marion County by one point.



The Larue County Band won their first State Championship last year. Larue County will be hosting the Lincoln Days Invitational Band Contest this Saturday, September 29, 2012, at LaRue County High School, 925 S. Lincoln Boulevard, Hodgenville, KY/Adair County will be performing in this contest at 1pmET and Larue County will be performing their show, Grey Scale, in exhibition at 7pmET. --Robin Smith
