GED/NCRC degrees conferred at LWC Hodge Center

Elizabeth Breneman, Kenneth McGilton, Matthew Steapleton, Jeremy Norris, Lonnie McCollum, Justin Fields and Gary Vance are honored at ceremonies

At the GED graduation that took place Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in Hodge Center, 402 Helen Flatt Drive, Columbia, KY, those who had earned a Graduate Equivalency Diploma (GED) and/or a National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) were recognized.



The graduates are Elizabeth Breneman (GED and NCRC), Kenneth McGilton (GED and NCRC), Matthew Stapleton (GED and NCRC), Jeremy Norris (NCRC). Lonnie McCollum (GED and NCRC), Justin Fields (NCRC), Gary Vance (NCRC). The graduation was a huge success and it took a team effort. Thanks to everyone for lending a helping hand. Congratulations to all the graduates. They worked extremely hard and it is paying off. Special thanks to Bank of Columbia, First and Farmers National Bank, United Citizens Bank, and Community Trust Bank for the scholarships they awarded the students, Cafe on the Square and Jeff Willis Lindsey Wilson Dining Center for the refreshments, and Sports Biz Printing for the shirts they made for the students. - LeAnna Bennett, Director
