Andrea Taylor, LWC, is MSC Volleyball Player of the Week Click on headline for story with photo(s) By Dan White News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson College's Andrea Taylor is the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Player of the Week, league officials announced on Monday, September 24, 2012. The weekly award is Taylor's first of the season and the third of her career. Taylor averaged 11.4 assists per set while helping the Blue Raiders to four wins last week. The Louisville, KY native tallied 37 assists in a sweep of Cumberland (Tenn.) to open the week, followed by 45 assists, her best output of the week, in a 3-1 win at Indiana University Southeast last Thursday, September 20, 2012. The setter added assist totals of 26 and 29 in wins over St. Andrews College and Milligan College over the weekend at Milligan's Invitational. The wins extended Lindsey Wilson's winning streak to a season-high 10 matches. In her 12 sets during the award period, Taylor added five kills, 24 digs and four service aces. Taylor leads the MSC in assist per set (10.9) and total assists (678), while ranking seventh in the NAIA in assists per set and 11th in total assists.
