Armed home invasion reported on Rose Lane in Columbia, KY

THIS MORNING! - Deputy BJ Bray is investigating incident which occurred Monday morning, September 24, 2012, off East KY 80/Russell Springs Road, Columbia, KY, on Rose Lane (Google Map)

From Adair County, KY, Sheriff's Department

At approximately 0530 on September 24, 2012, a resident on Rose Lane in Columbia, KY, reported to the Adair County 911 Center that someone had forcibly entered his residence.

The suspects were described as being two 5'8" slender white males (2 suspects). The homeowner reported that the two males entered his residence and he confronted them with a firearm before they fled on foot.

The homeowner stated that a white Scion tC (Scion tC entry with photo, in Wikipedia) was seen in the area a few minutes after the incident. The vehicle reported is a sedan, not the Scion "crackerbox."

Deputy BJ Bray with the Adair County Sheriff's Office is investigating this case.

Anyone with information relating to this incident is urged to contact the Adair County Sheriffs and speak with any available Officer. The number is 270-384-2776.
