Terry Akin named EMS Director of the Year, Western Region KY

Terry Akin, Columbia, KY, received the Kentucky Ambulance Providers Association's 2012 Director of the Year award for the Western Region of Kentucky.



This was in honor of not only his decades of service to the people of Adair County, but his dedication to the advancement of Emergency Medical Services throughout the state.
The award was presented on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the annual Kentucky EMS Conference and Expo, held at the Lexington, KY, Convention Center.

Terry Akin, retired just recently after 37 years with the service and for many of the latter years was Director of the Adair County EMS.
