Jayne Wesley Smith Squires, Green Co., KY, (1948-2012) She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summershade United Methodist Church where she was Treasurer from 1976 until 2012, Kentucky Conference Director of Lay Speaking Ministries for 8 years and currently serving. Kentucky Conference Co-Chair Board of Lay Ministry, active and held District Office in United Methodist Women, active in the Campbellsville Emmaus Community, she was a retired School Teacher for the Green County Board of Education where she worked for 27 years, and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. Her husband of 41 years, Billy Lucian Squires, who survives, was for many years Assistant to the President for Planned Giving at Lindsey Wilson College. Both Bill and Jayne gained many friends in Columbia and Adair County. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Summershade Cemetery. Laura Harris, Lynda Collins, Cinda Swan, and Bro. Darrell Coffey will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 1pm-9pmCT, Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Tuesday until time of the funeral service. Pallbearers: Marcus Kessler, Claudie Hancock, Larry Judd, Doug Keltner, Dick Newman and Mike Mills. She was 63 years, 11 months, and 19 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summershade United Methodist Church where she was Treasurer from 1976 until 2012, Kentucky Conference Director of Lay Speaking Ministries for 8 years and currently serving.
