ACSO sends details on Highway 206 Grocery, Ella, KY, robbery

David Haley lodged in Adair Regional Jail on $100,000 cash bond on multiple charges

On Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 7:24pmCT, a 911 call was received that the Hwy 206 Grocery and Grill, 10968 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY (the Ella Community of Adair County) had been robbed.

Deputy A. Rainwater of Adair County, Sheriff Office along with Kentucky State Trooper Wethington responded to find that two white males had entered the buisness, One of the white males later identified as David Allen Haley. age 32. of Campbellsville. KY pointed an unknown weapon from under his shirt at the store employee demanding money.



A witness was able to identify the get away vehicle as a 4 door white Chevrolet SUV. The vehicle was found a short time later on Ky Hwy 127 in Casey County occupied by David Haley.

David Haley identified himself as a Danny Wayne Haley and was later charged for giving a false name to police. David Haley was arrested by Deputy A. Rainwater and charged with Robbery 1st Degree, two counts of Terroristic Threatning 1st degree, giving false name to police and identity theft of another person.

David Haley was lodged in the Adair Regional Jail on a $100,000 cash bond. Charges on the other male are pending.
