LWC Volleyball sweeps Cumberland University at Lebanon, TN

Blue Raider volleyball remains unbeaten in the Mid South Conference

LEBANON, TN - A balance hitting attack enabled the Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep of host Cumberland University tonight at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center, 281 S. Greenwood, Lebanon, TN.



Four different Blue Raiders recorded at least seven kills led by Kailey Moorhead's game-high 14. Sarah Anderson provided eight kills while Courtney Doyle and Taylor Hayne each added seven in the Blue Raiders' 25-11, 25-14, 25-21 win.

As a team, the Blue Raiders - who have won seven straight - posted a .314 attacking percentage compared to a .084 from the Bulldogs.

Andrea Taylor contributed 37 assists for the Blue Raiders (9-6, 3-0 in the Mid-South Conference) and Kirsten King and Kristi Hager combined for five service aces. Hager led the team with 15 digs in the win.

Cumberland falls to 4-6 overall and 0-3 in the MSC with the loss. -Chris Wells, LWC
