LWC's Davids earns MSC Men's Soccer weekly award By Dan White News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - Yazeed Davids scored a goal in each of Lindsey Wilson College's two wins last week to be named the Mid-South Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career, league officials announced on Monday, September 17, 2012. The freshman forward from Cape Town, South Africa, scored his first goal of the week in the Blue Raiders' 4-0 win over visiting Campbellsville University last Tuesday. Davids followed with the lone goal in Lindsey Wilson's 1-0 win over Vanguard University of Costa Mesa, CA. With his two goals during the week, Davids moved into the conference's top-10 in points (9) and goals (3) on the season. Top-ranked Lindsey Wilson improved to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the MSC following last week's games. Shawnee State's Thomas Carbonari took defensive player of the week honors.
