She was an educator and a farmer Lina Elizabeth Wells passed away on Friday September 15, 2012 at Taylor Manor Nursing Home. She was 96. Visitation will be held 6pmET/5pmCT, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, on Tuesday September 18, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Wednesday September 19, 2012 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Middleburg Cemetery, Middleburg, KY. Lina Elizabeth Wells, Casey County, KY (1916-2012) She was born in Danville, Boyle County, KY on Wednesday, March 1, 1916. She was the daughter of the late Carlos Marion and Fannie Lynn Royalty Compton. She died Friday September 15, 2012, at the age of 96 years, 8 months, and 14 days. Mrs. Wells was a retired school teacher and a farmer. She was the widow of Harold Jones Wells. Survivors include the following:
