What followed was perhaps the team's best performance of the year. The Indians placed five scores in the 30's to defeat the Cumberland County Panthers by a score of 148 to 208. The Indians were led by Alex Durham's one under par round of 35. Other Indian scores are as follows: Daniel Rarey 37, Riley Grant and Korey Hundley 38's, Trey Garmon 39, Tanner Garmon's 42, Jacob Keltner's 44, Zach Pyles's 45, Jameson Miller's 53, Joseph Farmer's 57, and Bryce Farris's 60. Coach's Comments: In my opinion, the true sign of a great team is how you come back after a loss or diversity. I believe our kids more than passed that test today. From top to bottom this was the best round of golf we have played all year. We put 5 scores in the 30's today, I don't believe there are too many teams in the state that can make that claim. This is the time of year when you want to play your best and we definitely showed signs of that today, - Coach Burton This story was posted on 2012-09-14 06:48:32
