Shirley Ann Farlee Lauderdale, age 68, of Burkesville, Ky. passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at her residence in the Waterview Community of Cumberland County, KY

Funeral services will be conducted at 2pmCT, Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro.Todd Bryant and Bro. Ronnie Pitcock officiating. Special music and singing provided by Alta Owens, Rachel Groce, Bro. Richard Criswell. Burial will be in the Mud Camp Cemetery in Cumberland Co., KY.



Pallbearers: Josh Willis, Nicki Spears, Justin Lauderdale, Tiffany Proffitt, Betsy Gilbert and Cody Willis.

Shirley Ann Farlee Lauderdale was born on Thursday, May 4, 1944 the daughter of Erbie and Thelma White Farlee. She died Monday, September 10, 2012 at her residence in the Waterview Community, Cumberland Co., KY, at the age of 68 years, 5 months, and 6 days.

She was a homemaker, and of Holiness and Pentecostal faith, having attended Pittman Creek Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Arnold Farlee: her sister, Louise Vibbert; her granddaughter, Jeanie Elizabeth Lauderdale; her great-grandson, Conner Proffitt; and her great-granddaughter, Sidney Proffitt.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her six children: Susie (and David) Willis of Burkesville, KY; Tina Lauderdale, of Glasgow, KY; Melissa Lauderdale of Burkesville, KY; Jessica ( and Richard) Criswell of Monticello, KY; Jennie Burton of Burkesville, KY; Joe (and Rita) Lauderdale of Celina, Tennessee

  • Her two brothers: Tom ( and Joan) Farlee, Sandy (and Wilma) Farlee, both of Burkesville, KY

  • Her sister: Margaret Stilts of Burkesville, KY

  • Her ten grandchildren: Josh (and Jessica) Willis, Nicki Spears, Betsy ( and Jonathan) Gilbert, Tiffany (and Tim) Proffitt, Justin Lauderdale, Cody Willis, Reona Watson, Kayla Lauderdale, Kesley Lauderdale, Todd Lauderdale, Justin Criswell and Camden Criswell

  • Her ten great-grandchildren: Amber McInteer, Alexia Willis, Ariel Gilbert, Gracie Willis, Mallie Proffitt, Abagail Willis, Macie Strode, Tristen Proffitt, Anastasia Gilbert, and Addison Gilbert

  • And a special friend: Kristi Polston

  • Several nieces and nephews
