Practical mind should fix malfunction junction in Columbia, KY

Trucks cutting across landscapinvg KY 55/KY 80 junction by new CVS

Comments re article 54280 KY project 1 of US Top 10 US 68 double crossover diamond Rickie Williams writes:
I like articles like this.

Makes me think of the intersection of Hwy's KY 55 & KY 80 between Nissan and the new CVS. Many trucks turning right onto East Hwy 80 from Hwy 55 in front of the new CVS are having to hop the curb and run their rear trailer duals through the fresh dirt that I assume will soon be landscaping and/or grass. The time to increase the radius of that portion of the intersection is NOW. Or...wait until nice shrubs and landscaping gets murdered. To someone with a practical mind in the state highway department I wish this request would be sent.

- Rickie Williams
Thanks: Thanks. We'll try to get this to as high up as we know in the highway department, Mr. Junior Brown or one of the Democratic shotcallers. -EW
