Adair County Farmers Market has great fall selection today

The Adair County Farmers Market, located in the parking lot of the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street is now in session, from 6am-10amCT, today, Friday, September 7, 2012

At 6amCT, three of county's top vendors were already on time, present, and accounted for, and more may be along, directly. Here's the report:

  • Mr. Jeff Scott, of Antioch has lots of apples: Melrose, sweet eating apples; Goldrush, firm, sweet apples; and Cortland: The best cooking apples there are.
  • Holly Kerns, Sano, KY - Tomatoes. Red Potatoes. White Potatoes, Blue Potatoes. Tenderette Green Beans.
  • Margie Rooks, Sano, KY - Bell Peppers. Sweet and Hot Banana Peppers. Acorn Squash. Butternut Squash. Yukon Gold and White Potatoes. Green Onions, Eggplant. Squash. Cucumbers. Tomatoes. Pumpkins. And Watermelons.
The Farmer's Market is open today 6am-10amCT.
