LWC Men's Golf shoots 294, in 3rd place at London, KY

LONDON, KY - Lindsey Wilson College senior Nathan Clark shot a 1-under par 71 today to help the Blue Raiders to a third place tie at the midway point of the Bill Sergent Invitational hosted by University of the Cumberlands of Williamsburg, KY, at Crooked Creek County Club, 781 Crooked Creek Drive. The final round is scheduled for Friday, September 7, 2012 at Crooked Creek.



Clark carded four birdies and three bogeys - his ninth career par or better round - over the par-72, 6,943-yard Crooked Creek Golf Club course

. Clark trails first-round leader Alastair Tidcombe by one shot entering Friday's final round.

Lindsey Wilson and host Cumberlands each fired team-totals of 294. The pair trail opening round leader Southern Wesleyan (S.C.) University (289) by five shots and second place Lee (Tenn.) University (293) by a single shot.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore Nathan Hincks is just three shots off the pace after he recorded a pair of birdies and three bogeys en route to a 1-over 73. Hincks is tied for 13th overall in the 82-man field.

Jonathon Grabara - who is tied for 19th - is one shot back of Hincks after an opening round 74. Tom Hurst (76) and Daron Morris (84) is tied for 30th and 68th respectively.
