Mr. Wayne Brewington, 74, Green Co., KY (1937-2012)

He was a native of Ohio, and the head of a large, respected family. He leaves 28 direct living descendants. Mr. Brewington had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith. He was a retired U.S. Airforce Veteran and worked for Chrysler Corporation.

Mr. Wayne Brewington was born September 5, 1937 in Wilmington, Ohio to the late Donald and Mildred Lane Brewington, He departed this life Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio, having attained the age of 74 years, 11 months and 26 days. The funeral service was held at 1pmCT, Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court Street, Greensburg, KY, with Rev. Gary Ervin officiating. Interment is in the Wilson Cemetery. The Patriot Guard Riders provided an escort.

Mr. Wayne Brewington was born September 5, 1937 in Wilmington, Clinton County, Ohio. He was the son of the late Donald and Mildred Lane Brewington, He departed this life Saturday, September 1, 2012 in Lima, Allen County, Ohio, having attained the age of 74 years, 11 months and 26 days.

Mr. Brewington had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith. He was a retired U.S. Airforce Veteran and worked for Chrysler Corporation.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death April 1, 2008 by his wife Rosalyn Brewington.

He is survived by the following:
  • Three sons: Scott and Janet Brewington of Cookeville, Tennessee; and Camron and Mary Allen and Christopher and Jerri Brewington of Van Wert, Ohio

  • Two daughters: Cynthia and Ralph Schnepp of Van Wert, Ohio, and Clavon and Chris Mees of DeGraff, Ohio

  • Two brothers and one sister: Jerry, Ben and Sue Brewington

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • Eleven great grandchildren

  • A special friend: Greg Wagner
