Pelham Branch road resident arrested for trafficking in Marijuana

From Adair County, KY, Sheriff's Office

On 09-01-2012 at 5:16pm Anthony Bledsoe age 50 of Columbia was arrested and lodged at the Adair County Jail on charges of Possesion of Marijuana, Trafficking in Marijuana over 8 ounces but under 5 pounds, and drug paraphernalia buy/possess.

The arrest occurred after Sheriff Harrison Moss and Deputy Sheriff Aaron Rainwater of the Adair County Sheriff Office received a tip of illegal drug activities at the residence of Bledsoe located at 4370 Pelhelm Branch Road.

Sheriff Moss and Deputy Rainwater received consent to search the residence and property, where they discovered 1 pound and 4 ounces of marijuana, over $2000.00 in cash along with other drug paraphernalia.

A 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck was also seized as a result of the search. Bledsoe was lodged in the Adair County Jail on a $5,000.00 cash bond. - Sheriff Harrison Moss
