26th Annual Volunteer Lakeshore Cleanup is Sat. Sept, 15, 2012

Free Lunch / Prize Giveaway at Satterly Picnic Shelter, at Site One Boat Ramp, Green River Lake

The US Army Corps of Engineers' 26th Annual Volunteer Lakeshore Cleanup will be held on September 15, 2012 this year. Registration and trash pickup are from 9am-12pm noon ET/8am-11amCT.

A free lunch and prize giveaway begins at 12:30pmET, at Satterly Picnic Shelter located at Site One boat ramp.

To participate in trash pickup just show up at one of the following locations:
- Site One Boat Ramp, near 544 Lake Road, Campbellsville, KY
- Smith Ridge Boat Ramp,, at the very end of Smith Ridge Road/KY 372 Campbellsville, KY
- Holmes Bend Boat Ramp, 5380 Holmes Bend Road, Columbia, KY,
- State Park Pavilion, 179 Park Office Road Campbellsville KY 42718.

Annual Lakeshore Cleanup on Green River: Scene from 2011



2012-09-03 - Satterly Picnic Area, Site One Boat Ramp, Green River Lake, Ky . Part of the Clean-up Volunteers who gathered last year at the end of a successful Annual Volunteer Lakeshore Cleanup. The cleanup has grown over the years under the direction of three Park Rangers. It was started by Park Ranger Jim Goode, then headed by Park Ranger Larry Lemmon.
