The National Weather Service in Louisville, KY, has issued the following forecast for Columbia, KY. this forecast from update at 6:55amCT September 3, 2012
Today - Scattered showers before 11am, then scattered showers and thunderstorms between 11am and noon, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 79. South wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tonight - Scattered showers. Cloudy, with a low around 71. Light southeast wind. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
