Gerald Mullins, 81, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 2:53amET, Wednesday, August 29, 2012, in Campbellsville.

Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be conducted at a later date.



Gerald Mullins, Campbellsville, KY (1931-2012)

Gerald Mullins was the son of the late Leslie Clelland Mullins and Mary Evelyn Minor Mullins. He was born in Marion County, Kentucky, Sunday, July 5, 1931. He died Wednesday, August 29, 2012, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 81 years, 1 month, and 24 days.

He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and Lynn Wholesale Electric.

He was a member of Edwards O'Banion Post No. 82 American Legion.

He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two sons and one daughter: Bryan Mullins of Campbellsville, KY, and Gerald Clelland Mullins, Jr. and LaRita Jean Ellis Mullins of Danville, KY

  • Three step-sons: Mike Druin of Campbellsville, KY; Kenny Druin of Shepherdsville, KY; and Jimmy Druin of Sonora, KY

  • One grandson: Dalton Mullins of Greensburg, KY

  • Two brothers and three sisters: Melvin Mullins, Rudolph Mullins and Nellie Richerson of Lebanon, KY; and Helen Holland of Michigan and Laurie Pearl Stevens of Delaware

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
