Doris Baker, age 83 years of the Glensfork / Fairplay community of Adair County, KY, passed away Friday August 31, 2012 at 12:51amCT, at her home.

Funeral services will be Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 2pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY with Bro. Jimmy Bunch and Bro. Kerry Yates the officiating clergy. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Saturday, September 1, 2012 Interment will be in Grant Cemetery at Glensfork, KY.

Doris Baker was born Wednesday, April 3, 1929 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Sally Compton Grant. She died Friday, August 31, 2012, in the Glensfork/Fairplay community of Adair County, KY, at the age of 83 years, 4 months, and 28 days.

She was a member of Union Chapel Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband Travis Bradshaw on January 30, 1980. She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren: Tabitaha Bradshaw and Bradley Shane Bradshaw.

She is survived by her husband, Cass Baker of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Bradley Bradshaw & wife Joyce and Bryan Bradshaw and wife Minnie, all of Columbia, KY

  • One step daughter: Sheila Morris and husband Dean of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Clarice Lewis of Columbia, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Darren Bradshaw and Nathan Bradshaw

  • Two Step grandchildren: Jonathan Morris and Stephanie Pike

  • Four great grandchildren

  • Two step great grandchildren
  • Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
