Adair Co. girls were defeated by Barren County on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at The Pines of LWC. Ashley Goodin led all scorers with a 42 followed by teammate Rachel Phipps' 43. Rachel's 43 was her low round of this season. Even though Ashley and Rachel shot the days lowest rounds it wasn't enough to hold off Barren County. Barren placed three girls in the 40's - Emmory Shipley 44, Kylie Withrow 45, Jill Florence 47. Other scores for Adair Co. were Abby Royse 51, Madison Bell 63, Hailey Taylor 69, and Lauren McQuaide 77. Barren Co.'s Kayla Wyatt 50, Amber Jewell 51, Lyn Dawsyn Steenbergen 53. The final score was Barren Co. 186 and Adair Co. 199.
