Fall Colors: Why are they here this year so early?

Shouldja ask me I'd lay it on the earlier and earlier start of school, but I'm just channeling what I think Dr. Neat or Pete Walker would have said, using common sense. Maybe we should ask Billy Joe Fudge, who will give us the modern science on the matter, or take the word of some other person of uncommon sense. - EW
