Could the Jelly Bean the Shop Cat fervor start a movement here? Activist seems ready to lead Shop Cat Movement which might put Adair County ahead of such famed places as Hillsboro Village or even mighty Shelbyville, KY (though we'll maintain neutrality on rivalry with the latter until we contact our Shelby Countians: The Girls and the Grevans - Tillie & Hailey, Graham, Evan Lois Cunningham writes: I, too, love shop cats. They are in shops across the country. Originally, they were kept in stores years and years ago to keep the mouse population down. Hillsboro Village in Nashville has many shops with cats - the flower shop, jewelry shop, ladies boutique, high end furniture store, and even the Belcourt Theater all have shop cats and all within a two block area. To me a shop with a cat or cats feels friendlier.
