ACHS Boy's Golf defeats Cumberland, Clinton Counties

Remain undefeated in match play at 10-0

On Thursday afternoon, the ACHS Boy's Golf Team traveled to Dale Hollow State Park and defeated Cumberland County and Clinton County in a tri-match. Adair shot a team score of (161) to defeat Clinton's (180) and Cumberland's (223).

Alex Durham and Daniel Rarey's pair of 37's led the way for the Indians. Austin Cundiff's (43), Riley Grant, Blake Maupin, and Korey Hundley carded (44's) and Trey Garmon's (48) rounded out the scorecard for the Indians. The Indians match play record now stands at 10 wins and 0 losses for the season.

Coach's Comments - It is always nice to pick up a couple of wins, stated Coach Burton. Daniel and Alex both played very well. They really carried us today. Daniel is starting to show signs of coming into his own as a great player and Alex has been our best golfer all season long. I am proud of both of those kids.

The Adair County Indians Golf Varsity, JVs teams will play Marion County, Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson, 275 Country Club Road, Columbia, KY.
