ACHS Boy's Golf remains undefeated: Durham leads Indians Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Steve Burton, ACHS Boys Golf Coach On Tuesday afternoon at The Pines at LWC, the Indians defeated Green Co. by a score of 154 to 162. The JV Indians also rolled to a victory over the visiting Dragons by a score of 169 to 228. The Varsity Indians was led by Alex Durham's one under par round of (35). Trey Garmon's (37), Riley Grant's (41), Daniel Rarey's (41), and Blake Maupin's (43) rounded out the scorecard for the tribe. The Jr. Varsity Indians were led by Korey Hundley's outstanding round of (37). Austin Cundiff's (40), Tanner Garmon's (46), Zach Pyles's (46), Jameson Miller's (47), Jacob Keltner's (47), Bryce Farris's (51), Joseph Farmer's (53), and Tanner Janes's (59) rounded out the scoring for the Indians. The Indians now improve to 8-0 on the season while the JV Indians stand at 3-0-1. Coach's Comments I am extremely proud of kids today, stated Coach Burton. We played great as a team today. Our seniors Alex and Trey are really stepping up and becoming our leaders. We also have some of our young guys who are really starting to play well. We are starting to become a very tough team to beat. The Varsity Indians will be back in action Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Dale Hollow State Park, 5790 State Park Road, Burkesville, KY as they take on Cumberland, Monroe, and Clinton Counties.
