Frances Houston, 85, W. Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, died Monday, August 20, 2012, at the Casey County Hospital, Liberty, KY.

Funeral services will be at 12pm noon CT, Friday, August 24, 2012, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Richie Curtis officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Sunshine, KY. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Friday, August 24, 2012, at the funeral home.



Frances Houston, Russell Springs, KY (1926-2012)

Frances Houston was born Sunday, December 5, 1926, in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Dona Tucker and the late Delmar Tucker. She died Monday, August 20, 2012, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 85 years, 8 months, and 15 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Houston, and two children, Vickey Houston and Rickey Houston.

She is survived by the following:

  • One son: George Houston, Russell Springs, KY

  • One grandchild: Amber Houston, Russell Springs, KY

  • Three brothers: V.D. Tucker, Russell Springs, KY; Eddie Tucker, Indianapolis, IN; and Kenimer Tucker, Zanesville, Ohio

  • Three sisters: Chestina Shepard, Loueda Taylor, and Shirlyn Wilson, all of Russell Springs, KY.
Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangement.
