Has the real importance of the Hospital sunk in?

Closure would mean much more than just the hospital - but a whole lot more, Barbara Hancock writes, urging support for the hospital and the other facilities

Barbara Hancock
Personal commentary

I'm sure that I am one of many that has voiced an opinion about the current state of affairs. I have noticed that in many of the posts that most refer to the possiblility of the closure of this facility.

But, I don't think that most of the citizens of Adair Co. realize that this isn't the only source that is affected.

The adjoining Physicians builiding, Westlake Primary Care, Edmonton Primary, and Russell Co. Primary Care will go if the hospital goes.

Can any of us afford to take the time to find another Doctor?

I for one have found the doctor that I am happy with and I sure wouldn't like to lose him.

I find it sad that each day these people have to wonder what is next.

I'm sure that most of the people that know me know that I have a very dear family member that has been at this hospital since before it opened.

Just asking, please don't punish the loyal and dedicated for sticking up for a job they believe in.

Show your support for the hospital and the other facilities. Thank You - Barbara Hancock
