Mahaylie Abbott lives her grandfather's dream tonight

2012-08-18 - Trinity Fellowship Hall - Photo by Ed Waggener. The late Johnie Grant and granddaughter Mahaylie Abbott used to conspire to buy a Sno-Cone machine and sell the ice treats at get togethers. Tonight, Mahaylie is doing it, at a benefit for Johnie's widow, Pam Grant, at the Davenport Fellowship Hall by Trinity United Methodist Church. She's doing a great business, too. The benefit and the Ham, Bean, Slaw and Cornbread supper (5) prepared by Paula Miller and Ken Hill, is still being served at this time, and the auction has yet to start as this is posted at 6:18pmCT.
