Filing deadline was 4pmCT; list of local candidates below By Ed Waggener All incumbents with open seats filed in the Adair County School Board and City of Columbia Council races. Two incumbents, Adair County School Board Chairperson Floyd Burton in Division 4, and former School Board Chairperson Mike Harris, Division 5, are unopposed. Former Board Chairperson Marsha Walker will be in a three way race, with challengers Quinn Lasley and Charles Miller. All City Councillors now in office filed for reelection, including, in order of filing, Linda Waggener, Robert W. Flowers, Jim Hadley, Craig Dean, June Parson, and Anthony Grider. Seeking seats on the council are former councillors Charles Grimsley, Joe A. Moore, and Dr. Ronald "Butch" Rogers, with newcomer Craig Lasley filling out the 10 candidate field.
