William Lucas, Casey Co., KY (1924-2012) He was a retired Engineer with Kimberly-Clark, a U.S. Army World War II veteran and a Deacon at Highland Heights Baptist Church. William E. Lucas, 87, passed away on Wednesday August 8th, 2012 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. Funeral services officiated by Reverend Jimmy Brown were held at 1pmET/12pm noon CT, August 11, 2012 at the Bartle Funeral Home in Middleburg, KY. Burial is in the Middleburg Cemetery. William Lucas, Casey Co., KY (1924-2012) William E. Lucas was the son of the late Herman Francis Lucas and Zella Mae Simpson Lucas. He was born on August 22, 1924 in Middleburg, Casey County, KY. He died August 8, 2012, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 87 years, 11 months, and 17 days. He was preceded in death by his spouse Janet Lucas, two sisters; Ruth Smith and Ruby Floyd and one brother; Robert Herman Lucas. William was a retired Engineer with Kimberly-Clark, a U.S. Army World War II veteran and a Deacon at Highland Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include a brother, Charles Lucas of Middleburg, Kentucky and a sister Madelle Stafford of Danville, Kentucky. Bartle Funeral Home Middleburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
