News from the Adair County Girls Golf Team

Adair County High School Girl's Golf defeated Campbellsville and lost to Taylor Co. in a tri-match on Thursday, August 9 at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson.

Adair shot a 202, Taylor Co. 196, and Campbellsville 266.Ashley Goodin led all scorers with a 43. Abby Royse and Rachel Phipps both shot 51 with 7th grader Hailey Taylor posting a 57. Madison Bell finished with 63 and Lauren McQuaide a 68. Taylor Co. was led by Sarah Dickens with a 45 and Campbellsville was led by MaKenzie Murrell with a 58.

Coaches comments - We didn't play to our potential today and I think the kids know it. Taylor Co. is obviously a good golf team because they didn't even bring their top two or three players and still handed us a loss. Campbellsville didn't have one of their top five today either leaving them to only play with four.

Next up for Adair Girls is a match with powerhouse Green County High School, at Green County Golf Course, Inc. 158 Golf Course Road, Greensburg, KY 42743. Tee Time will be around 3:45pmCT, Monday, August 13, 2012. Kim Goodin
