News from Adair Farmers Market

Today's selection is great, especially if you've been wanting a great variety of tomatoes, purple hulls, watermelons and cantaloupes. No, we don't have any sweet corn, and what that means to the savvy grower is to be in that business next year. I have Purple Hull Peas. When I came up here to the Far North, they told me Purple Hulls wouldn't grow here. But mine are.

The Southernization of Adair County continues, thank you very much. I'm already planning my orders for next year. I'll have Purple Hull Peas, Blackeyed Peas, and Cream Peas - and maybe even have some of these in my High Tunnell greenhouse.
