By Fran Neat We have "groundbreaking" news!!! $40,472, but as you said, we'll need more for hidden costs and to furnish the house with furniture. The groundbreaking ceremony has been scheduled for next Thursday, August 16, at 6pmCT on Beechtop Road. (We are in the process of getting the Street & Number from Justin Bailey, the Adair County 911 Mapping and Addressing Coordinator. Hope to have it a few days before the event.) Mary and the children, as well as the committee, will be there. The public is invited to attend. And, I know you'll be there!!! We are in the process of getting the Street & Number from Justin Bailey, the Adair County 911 Mapping and Addressing Coordinator. - FranIf you want to help with the hidden costs, furniture, and a contingency fund: Mary's House: the story and the contacts: Cane Valley Christian Church, along with a group of concerned citizens, is raising money to build a new house for Mary McGuffin, a single, working mother with seven children, whose house recently burned. Checks are to be made to Cane Valley Christian Church Benevolence Fund with a memo of "Mary's House."
