Opening day at Adair Schools: All the kids arrive safely

Superintendent Alan Reed called at 7:44amCT to say that opening day at at the Adair County Schools went really well. "David Jones called just now and said that all the busses arrived safely and all the kids are at their schools." David Jones is Adair County School District Director of Pupil Transportation - (whose word is authority on mornings when snow or other inclement weather means school must be called off).

Supt. Reed said that because of quick response, when one bus had a minor brake issue, Mr. Jones' department was able to resolve the situation quickly and that route was on time, too.

Mr. Jones reminds motorists to remember, this afternoon, from 2:35pmCT to 4:30pmCT, that the District's big yellow busses will be rolling - and making frequent stops, throughout Adair County.
