Fog a factor in commute between Columbia-Campbellsville Patchy fog is a factor this morning. Larry Smith reports that the fog was thickening on KY 55 between Campbellsville and Columbia, particularly around the lake. "Motorists who are travelling just before dawn may see some really dense fog before the sun burns it off," he said. He's now counting the Fogs of August, remembering that old timers in Summersville, KY, always said that counting the number the foggy mornings in August is the best predictor of snows in the coming winter.
