Lois Cunningham comments on Lifepoint

By Lois Cunningham

I cannot answer all the questions you asked about Lifepoint, but you can get a general idea of what they are about, how many facilities they already own, both in Kentucky and Tennesee, by accessing their website on your computer.

They already own the hospital in Somerset, so some prudent questions about that hospital might also answer some of these question.

I have had positive results from any patients that i have taken there. It seems to be an update, well run medical facility.

No matter who buys the hospital some things will change. That is just what happens in any kind of corporate takeover. Yes some jobs will be lost that too is a given, as they will not keep the management staff they will bring in their own people. Caregivers will more than likely keep their jobs and support staff too, it too is what "usually" happens when there is a change in management. But yes there will be changes, some desperately needed and also some people will not agree with.

Nothing ever stays the same, we would all be lost in a time warp if that was the case.
