She was a native of Russell County, KY, and a member of a respected Adair County, KY family. Miss Reeder was retired from Our Lady of Peace Hospital in 1991, where she worked for thirty seven years. She was also a member of Beargrass Christian Church in Louisville, KY

Maggie Helen Reeder 84 of Columbia Kentucky went to join our Father and her family on Friday August 3, 2012 at the Palliative Care Unit at Baptist Hospital East, Louisville, KY.

Funeral services will be held on Monday August 6, 2012 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with Bro. Lonny Karnes the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation 2pm-6pmCT, Sunday, August 5, 2012, Monday morning until time for funeral service.



Maggie Helen Reeder, Adair Co, KY (1928-2012)

Maggie Helen Reeder was born on May 12, 1928 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Ed and Mary Reeder. She died Friday, August 3, 2012, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY at the age of 84 years, 2 months, and 22 days.

Miss Reeder was retired from Our Lady of Peace Hospital in 1991, where she worked for thirty seven years. She was also a member of Beargrass Christian Church in Louisville, KY

She was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Mary Reeder; her three sisters, Catherine Prewitt (Sonny), Lorene Roberts (Gilbert), Lita Faye (Thom) Bell, and her brother Calvin Reeder (Eva Lee).

Helen is survived by her sister, Judy Howard (Kenneth) of Louisville, KY; and by many, many loving nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.Stotts-Phelps-McQuearyFuneral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY in charge of arrangements.
