Donna Fern Marples, 49, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 3amET, Tuesday, July 31, 2012, in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services are at 11amET/10amCT, Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Harold Decker. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is 5pm-8pmET/4pm-7pmCT, Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Pallbearers: Curtis Cox, Billy Followell, Gary Harris, Boddy Lawson, Jimmy Reynolds, Bucky Tungate, and Tom Tungate.

Donna Fern Marples of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Earl Buddy Tungate and Fern Cox Tungate, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, Tuesday, January 15, 1963. She died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 49 years, 6 months, and 16 days.

She was an employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son: Cyrus Delbert Todd Marples of Campbellsville, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Jacob Todd Marples, Cyrus Blake Marples, Jonathan Delbert Marples and Annabelle Flame Marples of Lebanon, KY; and Siren Fire of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two sisters and two brothers: Rhoda Followell and husband, Billy, Bucky Tungate and wife, Nancy and Boddy Lawson and special friend, Pam Colvin of Campbellsville, KY; and Bonnie Jean Collins and special friend, Mark Peddy of Russell Springs, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Danny Ray Tungate and Betty Tungate.The family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to funeral expenses and may be made at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
