Vicky Pike says enthusiasm for Tax Recall running high Click on headline for item with copy of petition as filed in Adair County Court Clerk's Office Vicky Pike, one of the five members of the Recall Petition Committee seeking to recall the recent 3.7 cents per $100 of accessed property value tax levied on the taxpayers of Adair County by the Adair County Hospital District Board says that demands for petition forms is running high. "At Knifley, one store need more forms when we learned that the two pages they had were already filled up," Pike said. Each of the pages has space for 16 names."That's 32 names at just one store," she said. Only 755 names are needed to get the issue on the November 2014 ballot.
