The Social Seniors Club will be learning all things about email, at 11amCT, Thursday, August 2, 2012, at the Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY.

In this 1-hour class, you will learn and implement the following:

  • Setting up an email account. If you already have an email account, we will make sure that it is set up correctly and securely

  • Understand how to attach a file/photo and how to open an attachment

  • What attachments you can open and the ones that you should not open due to viruses or spyware

  • What is a signature and should you have one

  • How to send a copy of your email to someone else

  • Why you should have TWO email accounts
Along with the above, all of your questions about email will be answered during the class.

If you have a laptop, please bring it. We have limited space available because we only have 8 laptops, so if you have a laptop, please bring it.

This class is guaranteed to be fun, informative, and easy to apply. -Kelli Claypool
