Charles Sterling (Speedy) Simpson, Russell Co., KY (1943-2012) Charles Sterling "Speedy" Simpson was a member of a respected Russell County, KY family. He was a popular cab driver and a member of the Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Charles Sterling "Speedy" Simpson, 69, Maple Street, Russell Springs, KY, died Saturday, Juy 28, 2012, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, KY. The funeral service will be at 2pmCT, Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at the Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Gene Sneed the officiating clergy. Visitation will be after 12pm noon CT, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Square Oak Cemetery. Charles Sterling (Speedy) Simpson, Russell Co., KY (1943-2012 He was born February 12, 1943, in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Martha Jane Yeadon Simpson and the late Charles Marion Simpson. He died Saturday, July 28, 2012, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 69 years, 5 months, and 16 days. He was a cab driver and a member of the Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hershey Price Simpson, and a brother, Luther Marion Simpson, and sister, Bessie Elender Simpson. He is survived by the following:
