Kathy Lynn Compton of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Curtis S. Akin and Mamie Audrey Pickett Akin, was born on June 3, 1957 in Taylor County, Kentucky and departed this life on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at her home in Greensburg. She was 55 years, one month, and 19 days of age.

The funeral services for Kathy Lynn Compton will be conducted at 10amCT, Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Garnett Wayne Davis, and Bro. Jerry Noe will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT, Friday, July 27, 2012, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home

Kathy Lynn Compton of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Curtis S. Akin and Mamie Audrey Pickett Akin, was born on Monday, June 3, 1957 in Taylor County, Kentucky and departed this life on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at her home in Greensburg. She was 55 years, one month, and 19 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ladies Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include:
  • Three sisters: Carolyn Loyall of Summersville, KY; and Brenda Luttrell, and Connie Henderson both of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
