Victoria Pike learns more about Hospital Tax Recall

First step is to form a five-person committee, she's been told

Victoria Pike writes:
I just spoke with Andrew Hartley at the KY Dept. of Local Government. He referred me to KRS 132.017 Recall petition-Requirements and procedures- Reconsideration-Election-Second billing. In short, the first step is to form a petition committee of five people. Next step is to file an affidavit with the county clerk with names, address and phone numbers of the committee.

For those interested in reading the entire three page process, go to www.lrc.ky.gov. Then click on KY Law, then KY REvised Statues, Title and Chapter, Chapter 132 section 017.

For anyone interested in serving with me on this committee, please call me at 270-384-3348 or cell 634-2604. Also let me know if anyone else has started on a committee.

I still haven't spoken with anyone on the wording of the statement but thought I would post what information I have obtained.

- Victoria Pike
